Hi, I'm Chen, 35, Female, I work at King's College London. I'm very friendly, happy to help you settle in the area, I love movie nights and flatmate dinners, but also understand how busy life and work can be, so will be respectful of your down time.

I can be rather meticulous when it comes to cleaning and looking after appliances, but I'm straight forward, I will always tell you if I want things done a certain way, if you don't mind that, then we'll get along great.

About Your Bedroom:
A calming, misty green double bedroom with a new OTTY mattress, one built-in wardrobe, and three additional wardrobes. Desk and chair available if you want them. The view is fantastic, you can see the London Eye fireworks on New Year's Eve.

About the Flat:
This is a second floor flat with a lift, in a listed Art Deco building, with considerate neighbours. Spacious open plan living room, balcony and kitchen, and one luxurious bathroom. There are three bedrooms, but I do not plan on renting the third bedroom, it's my home gym... but mainly used as storage...

About the Location:
The flat is directly opposite Ruskin Park, five minutes walk from King's College Hospital and Denmark Hill Station, even closer to bus stops. Tesco Extra is a few steps away and a ten minutes walk to a massive Sainsbury's.

About the Rent:
The room is £500 deposit and £1200 pcm.
Couples are considered for shorter stays, £500 deposit and £1500 pcm.
No minimum stay, if you want to move out or I need you to move out, we give the other person 2 months' notice, unless we agree on a shorter stay before.
On street parking available for a fee, we can talk about it if needed.

About Myself:
I was born in China, moved to the UK when I was a kid, fluent in Mandarin. I moved to London for work, I teach researchers how to use microscopes, big ones. At home, I enjoy a good streaming service like most people, hence the big TV, I love to cook, fresh pasta is my next project in the kitchen.

My current lodger has lived with me for 3 years, we get along fantastically well, but she's moving to another country, that's why I'm back on SpareRoom.
