A spacious double bedroom in a beautiful, calm, newly renovated flat with a lift. Opposite Ruskin Park, five mins walk to KCH and Denmark Hill Station. I only plan on letting this one room in my three bedroom flat, I prefer a female lodger, a professional or mature student, to enjoy this very clean and tidy flat with me.

I'm Chen (35, F), I work at King's College, I'm very friendly, happy to help you settle in the area, I love movie nights and flatmate dinners, but also understand how busy life and work can be, so will be respectful of your down time.

I have high standards when it comes to cleaning, I will ask you to leave things as clean and tidy as you found them, especially the kitchen. I'm straight forward, I will always tell you if I want things done a certain way, if you don't mind following some house rules, and take care when using appliances and furniture, then we'll get along great.

About Your Bedroom:
A calming, misty green double bedroom with a new OTTY mattress on a simple white metal frame, solid oak flooring, one built-in wardrobe, two additional wardrobes and a display unit. The view is brilliant, you can see the London Eye fireworks.

About the Flat:
This is a second floor flat with a lift, in an Art Deco building, with considerate neighbours. Spacious open plan living room, balcony and kitchen, and one luxurious bathroom. Solid oak flooring and porcelain tiles throughout the flat. There are three bedrooms, but I do not plan on renting the third bedroom, it's my home gym... but mainly used as storage...

About the Location:
The flat is directly opposite Ruskin Park, five minutes walk from King's College Hospital and Denmark Hill Station, even closer to bus stops. Tesco is a few steps away and a ten minutes walk to a massive Sainsbury's. I'm biased, but I think the location is Fantastic!

About the Rent:
The room is £500 deposit and £1200 pcm.
Couples are considered for short stays, £500 deposit and £2000 pcm.
No minimum stay, if you want to move out or I need you to move out, we give the other person 1 month notice, unless we agree on a shorter stay beforehand.
On street parking available for a fee, we can talk about it if needed.

About Myself:
I was born in China, moved here when I was a kid, fluent in English and Mandarin. I moved to London for work, I teach researchers how to use microscopes, big ones. At home, I enjoy a good streaming service hence the big TV, I have lots of house plants, I love to cook, fresh pasta is my next project in the kitchen.

My current lodger has lived with me for 3 years, we get along fantastically well, but she's moving to another country, that's why I'm back on SpareRoom.
