Looking for a flatmate in Earl's Court

*THE ROOM*
The room is a smallish double, though it does have space for a double bed, desk, and chest of drawers.

There is no built-in wardrobe, but there is a kind of storage cupboard just outside the room which could be made into a wardrobe.

There is also ample storage in the mezzanine in my room, where you could put things you don’t need too regularly (out of season clothes, sports stuff, luggage, etc).

You would have your own bathroom with a nice big walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.

I can provide a double bed, side table, and desk – or you can bring your own furniture.

*THE FLAT*
About 700 square feet, and of a good standard with a combined kitchen/living dining room. This leads out into a very generous garden and patio area. It’s a little overgrown but really lovely, with a barbecue, table/chairs, loungers.

*THE BASICS*
The rent is £900 plus bills come to £150 per month. You would need to be able to pass referencing via Foxtons, which is a just a straightforward credit/identity check (I would cover the fee for this).
The room is available from the end of August/1 September.

*THE AREA*
Nevern Place in Earl’s Court (SW5 9PP) – less than five minutes’ walk from the station (District/Piccadilly Line). There are tons of amenities and good pubs within walking distance. Holland Park is about 10 minutes away, as is Old Brompton Cemetery.

*ABOUT ME*
I’m about to turn 30 and am a financial journalist. I usually work from home three days a week, but work from my bedroom so it wouldn’t disturb you.
Outside of work I live a pretty conventional ‘young in London’ life. Social sport, gym, socialising, galleries, gigs, etc.
I am pretty independent but am equally keen to have someone I could hang with sometimes in the evening for movies/drinks/dinner.
I am very relaxed and hopefully easy to live with. I don’t want to live in squalor, but am not going to flip my lid if you have people round and there’s an explosion of detritus in the living room the next day. I’m really relaxed if you want to have friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/family to visit and/or stay.
