The location is ideal for Imperial College students and staff as it is 15 minutes walk from the campus. Earl's court station is 5-7 minutes walk and Gloucester Road is 10 minutes walk away. There are some bus stop 2 minutes away.
There are a big Sainsbury's and a big Tesco less than 10 minutes away by walk.
The current tenants are a last year PhD and a post-doc at Imperial College. Two nice people, I lived with one of them for 5 years and the other is a colleague of mine since 2019. Both are nice people and we always found a way to compromise regarding flat matters.
There is high speed broadband in the flat (1000Mbit/s) and it works well for remote working/studying.
The room is spacious and there is also a nice en-suite bathroom. The furniture is also in good condition. The window view is a garden so the room is quiet. The room is at the third floor.
The kitchen is has over, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The drawback of the kitchen is that it is a bit small.
There is also insurance on the flat (paid by the landlord). If anything covered by the insurance breaks or wears out, the handyman takes care of it. It usually happens within the week. For urgent matters the handyman can be called with urgency.
