A warm and friendly older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as help with shopping (picking up, or online), cooking/helping to cook a few meals each week, light cleaning and tidying (she has a weekly cleaner), laundry, carrying heavier items/taking out the bins, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom (extra furniture eg a desk could be provided), shared shower room (the householder also has their own en-suite bath), and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in an excellent location in East Sheen, right next to Waitrose and close to other shops and local services, just 4 minutes’ walk from Mortlake Station (National Rail – direct trains to London Waterloo take 23 minutes) and 15 minutes’ walk to Richmond Park.

The lady is an artist and has a wide range of interests including reading The Guardian, listening to the radio, Watching Tv (David Attenborough, arts programmes) and other films/series on Netflix and Amazon Prime. She enjoys a range of dishes from Paella and lasagna to roasts, salads and omelettes; she does some cooking for herself, but would enjoy some shared meals/cooking and a few cooked for her.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
