En-suite in modern flat in East Village, Stratford

The flat
An ensuite bedroom with a queen-sized bed in a modern 3-bedroom flat with air conditioning, a balcony, shared living room, 2 bathrooms, garage access and an 8th-floor view over the park in front of the building. The room comes furnished with a large in-built wardrobe, chest of drawers and nightstand. The en-suite offers you a private shower, sink, and toilet. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer and plenty of storage space. There is a combined washer/dryer for laundry. If you wish you can also buy my work desk, full-size mirror, laundry rack, ironing board and iron. The room has more than enough space for a proper work-from-home desk, as do the other rooms so even if you choose to work in the common areas you won't be fighting for space. I've lived in this flat for nearly 3 years and cannot recommend it and the area enough. I'm only leaving because I finished my PhD here and leaving London.

The monthly bills for heating + water + electricity + council tax is about £150 per person. Broadband is included. The flat is managed by the GetLiving agency which is very prompt in fixing any issues, it also means that you will have to pass their reference checks.

Neighbourhood
The East Village area was developed as the Olympic athlete village for the 2012 Olympics and is surrounded by parks, excellent sports facilities, gyms, a GP within walking distance, and many amenities in the nearby Westfield shopping centre. Within walking distance is also the Hackney Wick area with lots of nightlife opportunities.

Stratford is extremely well connected, with high-speed trains to King’s Cross taking only 7 minutes, while Stratford TfL station connects to Jubilee, Central, DLR, Overground and Elizabeth lines. Direct buses from Stratford to Stansted Airport take 1h and regional trains to Essex and Tottenham Hale also stop here.

The flatmates
Your flatmates will be two lovely guys, Regan who recently moved here from Canada and is working in retail and Roy from Vietnam who recently moved here from New York and is working as a tax consultant. Both have a pretty varied work schedule so you'll be seeing them working from home some days.

About you
Please be LGBT-friendly. Regan and Roy are both still quite new to London, so we're looking for a friendly and tidy flatmate who is social but also enjoys their own space. Bonus points if you come with a TV ;) The agency which manages the flat has a strict referencing process and requires that your annual (pre-tax) income is 30x the monthly rent. They usually require regular income, if you are freelance that could cause issues at the referencing stage.
