Two Double Bedrooms in Townhouse Overlooking Park

Two Double Bedrooms available in a Townhouse flat share.

We are looking for two new housemates to move into our large 4-bed, 3 bathroom townhouse in East Village on or after the 10th of May.

** Happy to consider individuals (looking for just 1 room) or a pair of friends looking to take both rooms on. **

I have been living here for almost 5 years, and Brennan for 2.5. I also have a friendly ginger cat named Milo.

We are looking to meet 'candidates' rapidly, but need to find people that are the right fit.

THE ROOMS

The rooms available are pretty much identical in size and shape and are both priced at £950/month. The rooms are next to each other and so would share 1 bathroom (pictured).

** There will be an annual price increase coming up in July (this is usually linked to CPI - I would assume max 5% this year). **

Both rooms come fully-furnished (fitted wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables and bed).

Bills and communal expenses are approx. £150/month pp including; Council Tax, Electricity, Water, Heating, Internet (1Gbps), Netflix, Deliveroo Plus, & a Cleaner every 2 weeks.
We share quite a few things around the flat so you'd also be expected to contribute for things like cleaning supplies or whatever the majority of the flat deems as necessary.

Move in Date: Earliest 10th of May, ideally before June.

The landlord, Get Living London (GLL), is a fee-free property management company, and so there is no legal deposit required.

GLL will need to do referencing and paperwork which can take up to 4 weeks for any new resident.

To pass GLL's referencing you will need to prove you earn above a certain amount per annum - the number this year should be around £35k+.

Our townhouse flat is on the corner of Honour Lea Avenue & Olympic Park Avenue, with it's own front door and a large balcony overlooking the Olympic Park.

THE FLATMATES & NEW JOINERS

The current flatmates are Leo & Brennan.

Both are 28-29yo professionals who are easy-going and work mostly from home with occasional office visits. It’s always been a fun and friendly household over the years so we're keen for the new flatmates to fit in and be up for socialising. This includes going out for drinks/food, games nights, and sometimes hosting the occasional afters.

We're looking to invite candidates for viewings and then once narrowed down ideally get together for a drink so that the four of us can get to know each other.

THE AREA

The Flat is a 5-minute walk to Stratford International Station and DLR, around 10 minutes to Stratford Underground, and around 10 mins to Hackney Wick Overground.

Hackney Wick, Barge East, Here East are all on our doorstep - great for bars and social activities. We are basically in the Olympic Park, and then Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes & Walthamstow Marshes are all a stone’s throw away - lots of green space and great routes if you like your running/walking.

5 mins walk to Westfield (incl. big Waitrose), 1 min walk to Nisa Local, 5 min walk to Sainsbury's Local & Tesco Express, 20 min walk to Lidl and big Asda.
