Bright double en-suite room in East Village

Hey all, I’m moving back to Ireland for an exciting new chapter, so we’re looking for a new flatmate to join Rachel and Simone in our lovely 3 bed flat in East Village, Stratford.

I’ve lived in this flat for the past two years and have absolutely loved it, it’s such a great home in an amazing area. We didn’t know each other before moving in but have got on so well. We respect each other’s space but also really enjoy a chat on the balcony with some wine every now and then.

Rachel works in events and is in the office three days a week. Simone works in planning and is usually in the office one to two days a week. They’re both easygoing, clean and very considerate.

We’re looking for a professional in their late 20s/early–mid 30s who’s just as easygoing, clean and lovely. Ideally someone who doesn’t work from home five days a week.

The flat is located in East Village, Stratford, right across from the Olympic Park. It’s a short walk to Hackney Wick, Here East and Fish Island. Stratford station is a 10–15 minute walk through Westfield, with amazing transport links. It’s a fantastic area with so much on your doorstep, and I’ve genuinely loved living here.

The room itself is the biggest in the flat, so you’ll have lots of space. It’s bright and spacious, with a big wardrobe and plenty of storage, plus a really nice private en-suite bathroom. The room is furnished, but it’s fine to bring in your own bits if you have them (please note: the bed will have no mattress, but one can be requested from East Village residents).

We also have a big shared living room, a huge dining table for entertaining and a lovely balcony.

There is a bike shed downstairs in the car park available for use if you need it.

GetLiving manage the property and do not require a deposit. They’re really handy if any maintenance issues come up, you log a ticket via the app and someone comes out within a day or two.

Bills are around £100 to £150 extra per month.
