HELLO!
I'm Andy. My flatmate is moving out due to getting a place of his own, and I'm sure YOU are the perfect replacement! Room likely available from the 18th March. Ideally looking for another flatmate as opposed to just someone who lives in my spare room.
THE AREA - EAST VILLAGE
Location, location, location! Awarded 'best new place to live' at the London Planning Awards, East Village is the former Olympic athlete's village, located next to the Westfield's shopping centre in Stratford. We have communal gardens, Victory park and the Olympic Park all within a 5min walk. Plus, did I mention the Westfields? It's only the largest shopping / leisure centre in Europe! All the shops and restaurants you need plus a huge cinema. Then there's the aquatics centre, velodrome, copper box arena and the hipster delights of Hackney Wick.
LOCAL AMENITIES
The nearest pub/bar is 100m away, along with a Sainsbury's local. The GP surgery and pharmacy is 50m away. The local dentist is at the end of the road. We also have various restaurants, artisanal food stores, gyms, dry cleaners etc. in the village, with more places opening all the time. The Olympic Park is well maintained and great for getting some fresh air, plus regularly hosts major events.
TRANSPORT
Transport links are the best in London. Central, Jubilee, Overground, DLR, Elizabeth line (Crossrail) and National Rail all 5-10 mins walk away. Plus one of the biggest bus terminals in London. Stratford is served by the night tube at weekends. Liverpool Street is about 10 minutes by tube. Oxford Circus 20 minutes. High-speed rail service from Stratford International gets you to King's Cross in 8 minutes!
THE FLAT
A small double room furnished with a desk, wardrobe and large storage cupboard, plus a bedside table and under-bed storage. In the living area there is a table for working / eating and a 7 seat sofa (perfect for entertaining). The balcony is south-facing so gets the sun in the evenings.* The kitchen is an all-electric set up with more storage cupboards than you can shake a box of cornflakes at. The bathroom is shared but I do shift work, so we are unlikely to clash in the mornings!
*Unfortunately the balcony is currently inaccessible due to cladding replacement works.

- Can debate the pressing issues of our time without getting offended
- Does not regularly enjoy inhaling carcinogens
- Does some exercise i. e. not a complete couch potato
- Enjoys a good netflix binge or trip to the cinema
- Clean as you go (or at least within 24hrs!)
MONEY
950 pcm is an all-inclusive price - base rent and service charge (communal areas etc.) all utilities, council tax, TV license, 100Mb/s (very fast) internet connection, Netflix, NowTV, Prime, and a cleaner visit once monthly.
