Elephant & Castle: Double Room in 2-bed flat

My current flatmate is moving out so I’m looking for someone to take on a double room in a 2 bedroom flat in Elephant and Castle, very close to the station. Move in date is flexible between now and late November.

The house:
The flat will be shared between two people so you’d get your privacy and also the chance to interact as much as you’d want.

The room available is a double room, furnished with bed, two wardrobes, chest of drawers, desk and chair so would suit someone wanting to work from home too. The room has been recently redecorated.

There’s a living room with a large sofa, a large TV, dining table and plants! The kitchen has all amenities including washer/dryer. There’s a modern bathroom and separate toilet. This is a non-smoking and no pet house. We have worked out a cleaning rota to the common areas to ensure the house is kept clean and tidy.

The house is an LGBTQ friendly household and not a party house.
Move in date is flexible between now and late November.

Location:
The location is very central and well connected to the public transport (buses, underground and National Rail). All amenities near by such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Post Office, gyms and restaurants. A short walk to London Bridge and Waterloo station was well as the riverbank.

Price:
All bills are shared 50/50 and we have a contract directly with the landlord. Available is a double room, rent is £790 plus bills and the monthly total comes to around £890 per month. There’s a deposit of £790 which will be passed on to the landlord under the TDS scheme, and the contract would be changed to include the new flatmate.

Me:
You’d be sharing with me, a 33yo Brazilian guy who’s called London home for the last 11 years. I’m a civil servant and and many of us out there have been working from home since March. I’m a very laid back person who loves cooking, having the odd glass of wine and watching Netflix too.
