The room is a spacious, furnished double with bed, luxury mattress, wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables, desk and chair. The room is white, with light carpets, and gets good light during the day with a view Southwest, down into the shared garden.

- - The property - -
The flat is part of the beautiful ongoing Elephant Park development and was newly finished in 2017. It's the top (6th) floor flat of the southernmost buildings, and benefits well from the sun. There is also a south-facing balcony. There are two bedrooms, the other one occupied by me, the owner.

The shared living/kitchen/dining space is large and open-plan, with a corner bar, stools and a large dining table, which extends to seat 10 comfortably for dinner parties.

The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hobs and pans, oven/grill, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Good cupboard space and enough crockery to feed 12.

The living area has a large, soft L-shaped couch and reclining armchair, a 75" smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and, of course, other free streaming services - BBC, ITV, All4, YouTube, etc.

The Bathroom is shared between the two of us, and is modern, spacious and comfortable, with both bath and shower.

The building itself is extremely secure, with fob access required not just to get in, but also to use the lift and stairs. The fob can also be set to access the rooftop gardens on the neighbouring building, the shared residents function room in the higher building, the secure bike store (so very safe if you need to store a bike), and also a fully equipped gym, with free weights, machines, bikes, treadmills and more.

They're currently building the next phase of the adjoining park, among other residential buildings, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants ( google elephantpark ) and the amazing urban food market Mercato Metropolitano a 10 minute walk away ( Google mercatometropolitano elephant-and-castle ).

About me: I'm a software engineer from the north-west (near Liverpool, no accent). I'm sociable and like to mix with people. Family oriented - have previously lived with siblings and cousins, and am advertising the room as my current flatmates are sadly moving out to buy a their own place and settle down after 1.5 happy years. Am into sports, particularly football, basketball. Like to give things a try in the kitchen, and appreciate a nice glass of wine to accompany. :)
