Short Term Let: Affordable + Excellent Location

Hi all,

I will be going away from the 1st of July until the 20th of December 2024 and I am looking to sublet my room for this time period.

Price and location are really unbeatable! The flat is located in Zone 1, a 5min walk from Elephant and Castle (Bakerloo and Northern line) and a 5min walk to Borough (Northern line). There are also plenty of bus connections around. The best thing about the flat thought is probably the amazing view of the London skyline!

You will be sharing the flat with Leila and Imi, both in their late 20s/early 30s, working professionals doing a mix of home office and actual office.

We are looking for a female flatmate, ideally of a similar age. We are not a party flat (!!), and enjoy a quiet and peaceful home which is clean and tidy. We are friendly and respectful of each other and are looking for someone with a similar mindset. We have a monthly deep cleaning rota, and regular light cleaning is a given. There is no living room in the flat, but we have a somewhat decent sized kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet.

Since I am going away few months only, I will leave most of my belongings behind. The room comes therefore fully furnished with two wardrobes/bed/TV/standing desk/chair, etc.. I will shrink as much as possible so you have plenty of space for your own things. The room is relatively large, so I'm sure we can make it work!

I have several plants, and also take care of the flat's plants, so I would very much appreciate if you could take of my babies while I am away.

I think this arrangement would be ideal for someone who has just moved, or will move to the city soon and doesn't have too many items yet, or someone who is in London for a few months only.

To me, the most important thing is that you to take care of my things as if these were your own (or even better ;p). So I am looking for a reliable and honest person!

Rent is 650£ pounds per month plus bills, which have been around 105-110£ per month lately. This includes internet, water, gas etc..

I will ask for a deposit of a months rent (650£) for safekeeping, which I will of course give back once I return (and see my plants are still alive ;p).
