Spacious zone 1 double
The flat is part of the O Central development with bedrooms facing a courtyard and the kitchen/living room facing the pretty Victorian Pullens buildings on Crampton Street. The street itself is a no through road so is quiet at all times of day.
Kennington station (zone 2) is a 7 minute walk away with access to both branches of the Northern line providing speedy access to the West End, the City and Clapham. Also about 5 minutes away is Elephant & Castle station (zone 1) with Bakerloo and Northern lines plus Thameslink services. Barely 2 minutes away is Walworth Road providing frequent and surprisingly quick buses (Trafalgar Square 15 minutes, Victoria 20 minutes, Covent Garden 10 minutes). It's also easy to walk to places like Waterloo, Vauxhall, Victoria, Westminster, Covent Garden etc). On street parking is available with a permit, and secure cycle lockers are available to rent.
Sainsbury’s and Morrisons supermarkets both about 5 minutes walk away, plus East Street Market and a variety of high street shops including Boots and Marks & Spencer. Some decent pubs nearby, new restaurants in Sayer Street and Mercato Metropolitano is just a little further.
Very bright and airy open-plan kitchen/dining/living room which gets the sun all afternoon and evening, with leather sofa, wingback armchair, smart TV and dining table. Kitchen appliances include fan oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, bean to cup coffee machine and ice machine (Washer-dryer is in a separate utility cupboard in the hall).
Modern bathroom with bath, powerful thermostatically controlled shower, storage and an insanely big mirror, plus wireless audio system built into the ceiling so you can keep yourself entertained whilst taking a shower.
The bedroom itself is 2.9x4.1m which is fairly large by London standards - unlike a lot of flats you can actually walk right around the bed! A floor to ceiling window complements a door that leads out onto the balcony, shared with the other bedroom. Just about big enough to sit outside for a drink with a friend, the balcony gets sunshine in the morning and reflected sunlight from afternoon to evening. Furniture includes a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, desk and chair, and two wardrobes.
You'd be sharing the flat with a non-smoking gay 36 year old who's massively into going to theme parks, watching films, EastEnders and Bake Off, and enjoying wine. I'm airline cabin crew - currently furloughed and expecting to return to work part-time in November, but post-COVID (if such a thing exists) I'm likely to be away a fair bit I like to be sociable and love to watch TV and share a meal but also recognise that we all sometimes need a bit of time to ourselves. Part time home naturist (discovered during lockdown) - if you are too that's great, if not I'll keep my clothes on! Let me know how you feel about this when you message.
Looking for someone who wants a home and not just a room. Ideally you will be someone who is clean and tidy, a non-smoker, and sociable.
