We have a room available in our flat share. The flat is located right in between Finchley Central and West Finchley tube stations (so can always get a seat on the Northern!). Location-wise it's great: you have a large Tesco, large Waitrose, gym, park, cinema, barbers and swimming pool all close by. The area is very easy going, calm and quiet, and the tube will take you to livelier places (like Camden) in no time at all.

The room is a double with a window that overlooks the communal garden. It's furnished with a brand new/unused double bed frame and mattress, chest of drawers and it has a closet.

The flat has a balcony and its own private shed for bikes. Furthermore, there’s parking within the gated car park. The flat’s also great for post deliveries – you can have stuff left up at the flat's front door.

The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and everyone gets a shelf to themselves in the fridge and freezer.

As for the current flatmates, I’m a scientist working in biotech and the other flatmate, Andrew, works as in admissions for an academic institute. We both have standard 9-5ish working hours. You’ll also be living with my two indoor cats. They're both friendly and bursting with character (one of them even knows tricks such as sit, paw and high five).

We currently have a quiet relaxed environment, It's a great place to come home to after a hard day's work. We're very respectful of each others space and time: while everyone's got their own thing going on we always have time for a chat in the evening. As such the ideal flatmate would be anyone who wants a chilled out home!

Communal bills average around £100 a month per person (this includes council tax, gas, electricity, broadband and water - so will be increasing with the recent energy hikes). The broadband is 32 MB fibre.

To keep the place looking nice and clean we also have a cleaning rota - pretty standard stuff - each week we each get a communal area to clean. Takes about thirty mins a week and the place remains in great order!

The landlords are a very nice, respectful couple. I’ve lived here for five years now and they’ve always been responsive and great at sorting out any issues quickly!
