Double room by The Plimsoll, Finsbury Park

Greetings all. I am moving out of a 6-person flat in Finsbury Park which I’ve been living for a year and a half. I’m moving just down the road, which is a reflection of my admiration of the area (more on that below).

The flatmates are a lovely bunch in their mid to later 20s, including Alex (Scot, song writer and studying), Stella (Brit, working in marketing), Owain (Welsh, graphic designer), Ais (Brit, working in recruitment), and Chris (Brit, working in production of board games). Everyone enjoys a pint together on occasion and otherwise catching up in the kitchen whilst making dinner.

The room is a standard rear (west) facing room on the ground floor, which has double doors opening onto the rear garden/patio area. The room comes with the bed and Chester draws. The standing desk is not included but a replacement desk can be arranged with the landlord. There is also a built in closet and shelves as show in the photos.

The flat has a large kitchen that comfortably fits 2-3 people cooking at the same time, and has a small table. The backyard gets loads of sun, with a small table and clothes lines.

The flat is super well located, 2min walk to Finsbury Park Station (Victoria line; Piccadilly line; and Overground). Finsbury Park offers a number of cheap supermarkets, food outlets etc. Nearby Blackstock Rd has a good pub, wine bar, and restaurant offering. Most importantly, the flat is right opposite the famous Plimsoll. Finsbury Park, Clissold Park and Highbury Fields are all within a 10min walk.
