Double room in 2 bed house share. Rent £750, bills £100.

Hi there! I’m Katt and I have a room available in a lovely 2 bedroom end terrace house in Forest Gate. Move in available immediately.

The house is an end terrace with a living room, good sized kitchen, washing machine and bathroom on the ground floor, then two double bedrooms upstairs. There is also a good sized garden with side gate access.

The house is a 15 minute walk from Forest Gate TFL Rail (direct to Liverpool Street), and 13 minutes walk to Wanstead Park Overground. There are also a number of buses in the vicinity, one of which takes less than 10 minutes to get to Leyton (Central Line). There is permitted parking out front which costs £45 a year.

Your room is on the back of the house, overlooking the garden. A double bed, one wardrobe and a desk are included, and there’s an additional full length cupboard for storage. This currently fits a chest of drawers in (IKEA Kullen), so it’s a good size.

The area is brilliant for local business – within 15 mins walk you can reach a number of bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as lots of dog friendly pubs. The house is also a 5 minute walk to the Wanstead Flats, a huge open area which I use daily to walk the dog. This area has a huge sense of community and everyone knows each other.

About me:
I’m 27 and have lived in London for 9 years. I work in social media marketing and work from home most of the time. I have a wonderful greyhound called Vicky who will become your best friend and is always up for a cuddle.

As I’ve been sharing this house with a close friend, I’m looking for someone who will see it more than just a place to sleep. If you’re up for Netflix and wine on a Friday night I’m sure we’ll get along.
