Large double in a spacious and beautiful Victorian house within walking distance of Catford, Catford Bridge and Forest Hill stations. There are bus stops within 2-5 minutes walk with direct connections to local train stations + Lewisham, Denmark Hill, Victoria and Central London. There’s a large Sainsbury's, Aldi, Lidl and a Tesco Metro within a 15-minute walking distance.

The room is on the first floor and overlooks the garden, so it’s nice and quiet. Lots of light and ample storage. Fully furnished with a double bed and brand new mattress, two wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a cabinet. Happy to put in a desk for those working from home.
The house is a gorgeous three-storey period property with tonnes of space and a stunning spa bathroom (shared with 1 other), shared kitchen/diner, upstairs lounge with TV, huge garden and ample parking on the street.

Fully equipped kitchen & utility room with washer/dryer, microwave, coffee machine, etc. You’ll have access to your own personal fridge and cupboard shelves. The house is also secure with a fully integrated alarm system.

All bills and some household items such as toilet paper, kitchen roll, hand wash, etc are included in the rent, as is a weekly clean of the communal areas.

About us: We’re both Buddhist, easygoing, friendly, enjoy travelling and visiting art galleries. We both work/study from home so like the house to be a relaxed and calm space. We'd like to live with someone who is friendly, respectful and tidy either a professional or post-grad student. We already have one lodger. Simon is 36, works in TV, is into fitness and health and has been with us for over two years. He also works from home.

I’ve spent a lot of time and energy refurbishing the house to turn it into a warm and welcoming home that feels luxurious and at the same time relaxing and homely.

About the area: The local area is quite vibrant. There are a number of gyms and swimming pools, regular farmer’s markets, a wonderful new hot yoga studio and independent multi-screen cinemas in Catford Mews, Bellingham & Crystal Palace.
