A couple are seeking a Sharer to live in their home and offer up to 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

The husband has short-term memory problems due to early Alzheimer’s so as his wife still works part-time, they are seeking a Sharer for their home to give a mix of general practical help around the home, plus some friendly company.

The practical help would include cooking some healthy (mainly vegetarian) meals, light cleaning/tidying, a bit of ironing, picking up shopping, prompts and reminders, simple IT help, and some friendly company, such as going on walks, having a chat, pottering n the garden.

The accommodation on offer is a spacious bedroom with a single bed and wardrobe, and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden, in a clean and tidy home.

The property is in a lovely location approx. 15 minutes’ walk from Sydenham Station in one direction and Forest Hill in the other (both London Overground and National Rail), and close to a lovely park.

The person enjoys listening to music, cycling, the company of friends, going for walks and gardening.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
