My flatmate has decided to move in with her family, hence I have this lovely bedroom available for rent.
The flat was recently renovated and I have lived here for the past 2 years and it really feels like a home. The colourful walls and the wooden floor create a lovely and calm atmosphere. The flat is supper sunny, with its own balcony, located on the 3rd floor and situated in a well-kept development of beautiful mansion blocks with shared green places.
The bedroom comes furnished with a king bed and a massive wardrobe (the desk, chair and other furniture in the room could be bought from my flatmate). The room has a lovely view over the city.
The lounge is super chill place with gas fireplace and the kitchen is fitted with modern units and appliances (dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine) which leads to a private balcony with table and chairs.
We will share a bathroom - bath with a shower head, sink with cabinets and a toilet.
The flat has gas central heating, double glazing, security entry phone and private parking and bike storage for a fee. The monthly bills come around £200 each person (council tax B, water, electricity + gas, wifi).
The balcony apartment is located 4 minutes walk from Gipsy Hill train station (getting directly to London Victoria and London Bridge in under 30 min) and 15 minutes walk from Crystal Palace Station (Southern Train Line and Windrush Line towards East London) and lots of bus stations.
The triangle area offers a big Sainsbury’s, independent shops and charity shops, lots of cafes, pubs and wine places. There’s an Everyman cinema and local library, big park and a weekend farmers market with vintage pop-ups. A true hidden gem in South London!!
I’m a 25 corporate girly working fully from home, but I do have business travels almost every month for about 1-2 weeks during which you’ll have the flat for yourself :)
I’m pretty chill, love my own space but also I do enjoy a pint/glass of wine after work and a night out on the weekend.
Looking for someone tidy and friendly with similar interests. You will need to pass the standard agency checks/referencing (I believe you should earn above 30k). You will be able to move in from 22nd June but it might be a bit flexible if my flatmate leaves early.
If you like the place and would like to come to a viewing just let me know :) super excited to meet you!!
