Large Double En-Suite In Friendly Flatshare

Large double en-suite room in a 4 bedroom flat share in between Angel/Old Street (northern line) and Barbican (hammersmith, circle, metropolitan).

Our current flatmate is leaving as she is moving abroad with work so we are looking for someone friendly and down to earth to replace her. You will have your own agreement with the landlord.

Minimum term is 6 months. There is no maximum.

The room itself comes furnished with 2 wardrobes, chest of drawers, chair and double bed. There is plenty of extra floor space in the room. It has a large window which opens completely so is light and airy.

The en-suite has a bath (with shower) as well as toilet, sink and 3 shelves. This is the only room with its own bathroom.

The flat:

There is a kitchen which includes a table and two chairs. It has a gas hob and electric oven. There is also a washing machine (no dryer - plenty of space in the room for drying clothes) and a dishwasher which is very rare for London. There are two fridges and a freezer so space for food is never an issue.

The flat has a balcony which can be accessed by the large window in the room (or through one room if that flatmate is in). We like to sit and have a drink or two on the balcony sometimes. It overlooks a children’s play park.

The three of us are different nationalities (2 Italians 1 Spanish (British housemate is leaving). We work in a variety of industries. We are down to earth and like to hang out with each other but also give each other plenty of space.

The area:

We are close to 3 tube stations which have a variety of lines. There is a tesco express at the end of the road and we are within 5-10 minutes walk of a waitrose and a co-op. Additionally there is a large sainaburys in Angel (15 minutes walk).

It’s on a quiet private residential street with a lovely pub and coffee shop at one end. There are plenty of gyms close by. A couple of us are members of one so sometimes we go together.

You can walk to St Paul’s cathedral (and the Thames) in 15-20minutes. Oxford street is a 40 minutes walk away. Islington canal is also only 15 minutes walk away which is a great place to hang out in the day or evening when the weather is nice.

There are plenty of buses that stop at the end of the road going to a variety of locations. Including night buses.
