Hi everyone, my friend recently moved abroad for work and I am looking for a new flatmate for the spare room in my flat.

THE APARTMENT & ROOM

Very large and brand new build, two bedroom, two bathroom flat on third floor on the Greenwich/Deptford border with excellent double door and lift security from street level. The flat is spacious, enjoys lots of light with large windows and open plan. The apartment has great views and very quiet with no traffic noise given it faces green spaces and the river. The apartment has a high quality well equipped kitchen, lounge and access two 2 large private balconies. The complex boasts a concierge service, bike store, 24/7 well equipped gym, 24/7 large shared roof terrace which overlooks the London Skyline.

The bedroom is a large double, furnished with a double bed, ample storage - large wardrobe, new study desk and ergonomic study chair. The room has double glazing, central heating and faces a large quiet green space. The room has its own large new bathroom including shower and bathtub.

The bedroom also has the space for additional cupboards if necessary. There is also a storage room within the apartment which houses a washer/dryer.

The flat is located on the border of Greenwich and Deptford and boasts a range of transport options to get around London. Three DLR stations between 5-10 mins walk (Cutty Sark Greenwich, Greenwich (Main) and Deptford Bridge. A national rail service runs from Greenwich and Deptford to London Bridge in 6 mins and city 12 mins by train. The London overground is available from New Cross Gate or Surrey Quays. Multiple bus routes run from outside the complex and there is also Greenwich Pier clipper services, 10 mins away. For cyclists, the flat is optimally located at the start of the Q1 cycle route into central London. Essentially there is a significant range of transport services and options available.

AREA

The apartment is 10 mins walk from Greenwich Park, beautiful river walks and a range of green spaces.
The area provides a range of amenities and has a strong safe community feel and has a strong young professional vibe. The area includes 1 Flagship Waitrose, Sainsbury, 2 Tescos, 1 very large Asda, Iceland, Lidl all within a short walking distance from the flat. The area is great for foodies with very high quality independent eateries, bakeries and the famous Greenwich Market as well as Deliveroo/Ubereats/Just eat etc. Fitness wise there are a range of options including a swimming pool leisure centre down the road, multiple gym chains and yoga studio next door. There are plentiful markets, bars and pubs to try.

I am male, 31, native Londoner and work as a Strategy Consultant in major professional services company, working Monday - Friday. I would consider myself an easy going and tidy flat mate. I enjoy good food/drink (eating in and out), keen traveller, keen gym goer & swimmer.

I am looking for a professional ideally between the ages of 25 and 36 who is easy-going, clean & tidy, fun and respectful. No students, no couples, no pets, no children or smokers please.
