Basic cleaning and housekeeping skills essential, bonus points for cooking, DIY or craft skills

No dogs (sorry), cats are OK if they’re well behaved and neutered/spayed

About us:

Mike – desk jockey by day, disc jockey by night, likes Arsenal, rare vinyl and experimental cooking
Jane – AV and IT technician, keyboard and fiddle player, likes sci-fi, baking and swimming
Tom – Events logistics guy, rock guitarist, likes Formula 1, Star Wars and Iron Maiden
Jacob – Software engineer, into crypto currency, economics and rave

Generally we’re pretty chill and usually up for a chat, laugh, rant, cup of tea, pint etc, but respectful of each other’s work schedules and personal space. If you’re cool with cheesy 80s tunes (Jane), random geeky trivia (Tom), an endless supply of awful jokes (Mike) home made bread (Jacob) and left-wing politics (everyone) you’ll fit right in!

About the area:

Travel: 7 mins to Homerton, 15-20 mins to Hackney Central and Hackney Downs, plenty of buses and
night buses within a few hundred metres
Tesco and Lidl just down the road and a very good corner shop/off-licence right next door
Loads of pubs, bars, cafés, takeaways, charity shops, post office, dry cleaner, dentist etc very close by
Great for green spaces: 5 mins to Well St Common, 10 mins to Victoria Park, 20 mins to Hackney Marshes, Mabley Green and Wick Woodland

Financial stuff:

Rent £575, paid monthly on 17th for the month ahead.
Bills: £30 council tax, £10 water and £10 internet, also paid monthly.
No upfront deposit, just pay the difference forward to the person you’re replacing (depending on how close to the 17th you move in)
Gas and electric are on top-up meters, paid into a kitty – usually about £20pcm each
