Room in 2-bedroom Hackney maisonette

Room available from June (flexible move-in over the summer)

Hi! My housemate Josh is moving in with his girlfriend, so I’m looking for someone to take his room in this lovely 2-bedroom maisonette.

> The house
We have the whole maisonette spread over 3 floors, so it really feels spacious with high ceilings throughout. Quite often you’ll end up having the place to yourself too. A few highlights
- Large terrace south west facing… perfect for sunsets, and gardening is very welcome !!
- Bright living room with large windows and great natural light all day
- Ground floor bike storage (safe and super convenient)
- Usual things, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, all in great working order

> The room
A double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe by the door. I have a video I can send you to show a different setup for the room.

> Location
Honestly such a great spot, The Castle Cinema is just 3 minutes away, and there are loads of shops, cafes and restaurants on Chatsworth Road.
Homerton Station is a 7-minute walk, Hackney Central not far, plus plenty of buses. Cycling is also a great option, and you can store your bike inside.

> About me
I’m 31, French/Moroccan, and have been in London for 8 years (originally from Paris). I studied economics at LSE, worked as an economist for a few years and now work with startups as a Head of Growth.

I love cinema, making/designing things, dancing, trying new food, board games, spending time with friends, and travelling whenever I can. I’ve always ended up becoming friends with my housemates, and I’d love to keep that vibe, making this feel like a proper home where we both feel good.

Bills ~£150 (council tax, internet, gas, electricity)

Open to 6 months or longer, you’ll need to be on the contract and pass referencing with the agency. Landlord and agency are very responsive and nice.
