Queer Flat In Hackney Downs

We have a room going in our lovely queer flat in Hackney Downs!

The flat:
This is a 3 bedroom flat near the edge of Hackney Downs park. 5 minute walk from Hackney Downs station, 10 minute walk from Hackney Central station, and 15 minute walk to Dalston. We share a kitchen, 1 bathroom and a super bright living room with a dining table.

The room:
A double, unfurnished / furnished room shown in the pics. It is the bedroom furthest from the living room. The rent is £1000 + bills. (Bills roughly £150ish) Deposit is one month’s rent. The room available from May onwards. (Dates semi flexible, we can chat more about this in the viewings)

Viewings starting from WC 06 April.

Our housemate who is moving out has said that the bed, desk, clothes rail and chest of drawers would be available for sale to stay in the room if you’d like. (We can chat specifics in the viewings)

Bed & mattress - £100

Desk - £50

The housemates:
You’ll be living with me (29, queer, she/her) and Daniel (29, queer, they/them). We both work Monday-Friday, sometimes in the office and sometimes WFH. We are social people and enjoy going out etc but generally keep it quite chill in the house during the week.

You:
We ideally are looking for another queer person to join us, and to keep our home a queer safe and comfortable space.

Regular income required, our letting agents are quite rigorous on income and professional status. Unfortunately benefits are not accepted, sorry (I have checked this)

Unfortunately no couples.

Accessibility:
The flat is on the first floor with approximately 15 steps up to it, there is a lift in the building- however it is sometimes out of service and unfortunately unreliable. The flat is all on one level. If you have any specific questions on accessibility please feel free to reach out and ask!
