Flatshare in Warehouse in Hackney Wick

Hello! My name is Helena, a jewellery designer with a passion for cooking, gardening and spending time in beautiful nature. I am looking for someone to join my flatshare in this unique and spacious warehouse unit in the beginning of May. Ideally looking for someone wanting to stay for a few months (3-6) but I entertain the possibility to extend.

A little about the space: renovated last summer, I managed to turn this space into an ample and creative sanctuary. The room advertised has some natural light, although please notice there isn't a window facing the street directly. It is quiet, with a mezzanine built over wardrobe and desk space area. Plenty of space to do yoga or do a little sitting nook or whatever else makes you feel at home.

The main area comprises of an open plan kitchen/livingroom/dining room area. There is a film projector and screen, good soundsystem and you can often find me slouched reading a book.

Near the window is where I have my jewellery workshop and you are more than welcome to join me there, there's a big ample table we can share and work from.

We have a rooftop where in the summer I plant some veggies and where our neighbours chill out at, it is often where we socialise.

Sporadically the space gets rented for a photoshoot, that is how I pay off the renovation costs. If the shoot extends after weekday working hours, we split the costs and that can be deducted off your rent. Happy to talk more about it.

Now a little about me: I have lived here for over 11 years and have seen the area change drastically. However, this warehouse feels like a hidden gem and the community is so wonderful and creative. I split my time with different jobs, these have been years of trying things out and embrace change, but I love my home and enjoy quality company :) I am an early bird and treasure my sleep so the ideal candidate must be noise conscious and aware if they don't share the same sleeping patterns.

I am looking for someone who wants to live in gentle creativity, that is socially aware and has a light energy. You will tidy up after yourself and take part in the upkeep of the flat.
