I have one bedroom available in my two-bedroom home in Hampstead. There is a choice of room depending on preference.
The house is bright, calm and very well kept. It’s easy to see from the photos and video that it’s clean and tidy, and that’s something that matters to me. Any potential flatmate should naturally want to keep any shared spaces nice.
Both bedrooms are doubles, similar in size, with good storage and lots of natural light. They’re on different levels of the house. The top room has slightly restricted head height in places, so it would suit someone a little shorter. The top room for this reason is the cheaper of the two rooms. £1150 (plus 200 bills). The bottom room is £1400 (plus £200 bills)
The house is fully equipped with everything you’d expect, including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and high speed internet.
Location-wise, it’s excellent. There’s great access to Hampstead Heath for walks and green space. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Hampstead station on the Northern line, and the same distance to West Hampstead where you have Jubilee line, Overground and Thameslink. It’s also usually very easy to grab a Lime bike nearby if you’d rather not walk.
I’m 40 and recently widowed. After a big life change, I’ve decided I’d rather share my home than live alone, and I’m looking for the right person to enjoy the space with. I work in software and run my own businesses, splitting my time between working from home and coworking spaces, so I’m around some days but not constantly.
I’m sociable and very happy to share the occasional dinner or glass of wine if we’re both in, but I also really respect personal space. It’s important to me that I genuinely get along with the person I live with. I’m not looking to simply coexist with a stranger, I’d much rather share the home with someone who could become a friend
I also have a medium sized, five year old dog who lives here. He’s very friendly and very clean, and I’ll include a photo of him in the ad. He goes to daycare a few days a week and boards occasionally, so he isn’t always around, but you’d need to genuinely like dogs and be comfortable sharing the home with him.
I’m looking for a tidy, considerate professional who values a calm home and would enjoy living somewhere friendly rather than anonymous. If that sounds like you, send me a message with a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for.
