Large and bright furnished double room in Highbury. Own bathroom (shared with other lodger, but not with members of the family). Shared kitchen, with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, fridge, cooker. Broadband included. Nice garden with raspberries and strawberries and tomatoes and cucumbers.

It’s in a family home in Highbury, close to Highbury Fields, with its pool, gym, and tennis courts, and a short walk to Clissold Park and Stoke Newington. Very handy for transport links - Highbury & Islington, Arsenal, and Drayton Park stations are all a short walk away, and good bus routes (4, 19, 236, 263) are two minutes away.

Good local shops at Highbury Barn, and Upper Street and The Angel are a walk or bus ride away.

The occupants are me (retired from the advertising business, so around most of the day) and my husband (still working in the law). Another lodger works at Innocent Drinks in digital marketing. We have two dogs, so it’s essential that any lodger is okay with two small, slightly barky, terriers (they’re annoying to start with but will grow to love you - they stay downstairs anyway and are not allowed upstairs).

We all smoke, but only downstairs. Cleaner comes once a week (included).
