Double room in sunny Highbury

Our flat has 3 bedrooms, an open living space, a large bathroom, and a separate kitchen.

The flat is in a lovely part of Highbury, on top of the hill. It’s a minute’s walk to the local shops and pub. The road turns into Blackstock Road, which has plenty of cafes, pubs, and bookshops. The flat is in a small block with a private square, so we’ve got somewhere to sit when the weather’s nice!

~ 1 minute from local shops
~ 5 minutes from Highbury Fields
~ 10 minutes from Clissold Park and Stoke Newington’s Church Street
~ 10 minutes from Arsenal and Drayton Park stations
~ 15 minutes from Highbury and Islington and Finsbury Park stations

Immediately outside the flat is a bus stop (4, 19, and 236).

Given the location there is a bit of road noise inside the flat, including at night, so please bear this in mind.

Current flatmates:
Charley and Kate. Kate works as a sustainability consultant, and Charley is a copywriter in advertising. We both work from home a couple of days a week.

We’ve been here for a while and are laidback, friendly and creative. We’re both fairly busy but hang out when we’re around, and spend more time in the living room than in our bedrooms. A typical weeknight would involve cooking, catching up on our days and watching a series (we have all the subscriptions on the living room tv).

Rent and bills:
Rent is £940, paid on 17th of every month.
Bills are £150 pm. They cover gas and electric, water, council tax, internet, and the tv license.
Deposit is £1099.
