Large double room with ensuite

Hi all!

We're 2 guys and 2 girls looking to find a new housemate to join us in our lovely home in Highbury.

The room:

The room on offer is a large double with ensuite, which comes furnished and with a lot of built in storage space. If you need more storage though don't worry, we’re a social house so there’s space for things throughout the house too.

The bedroom is on the top floor of the house and has a small balcony looking out towards the backyard.

As the house is over several floors, it's nice and quiet and very much your own space. We all get on well though, so if you want a chat there’s always someone around!

The house:

Our beautiful house is on a quiet road in Highbury, close to all amenities. The house is laid out over 4 floors, and has 3 bathrooms (one is your en-suite). There's a lovely kitchen with huge fridge/freezer, and plenty of storage throughout the property. We spend a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen as it's one of our favourite rooms!

Leading out from the kitchen is a fantastic decked garden, with space for relaxing with a glass of wine in the summer, or having friends round for a barbeque or fire pit.

The place is the perfect location for transport, being only 3 mins from Arsenal (Piccadilly line tube), 5 mins from Drayton Park (fast trains into the city/Moorgate/Old Street), 15 mins from Highbury & Islington (Victoria line plus various overground lines), 10 mins from Holloway Road (Piccadilly line), and near lots of bus/night-bus routes.

We're also right next to Gillespie Park, 10 minutes from Clissold Park, and only a 5 minute walk from Highbury Fields, a beautiful park with tennis courts and a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym.

Bills, including council tax (band F), broadband, and Virgin TV, are included in the rent. Gas & Electricity is separate and paid quarterly.

Us - Caroline, George, Kieran and Amy

Caroline - 32, from Australia and has lived in London for 4 years. She works in property development and likes live sports, wine bars and tries to like running.

George - 30, works in the criminal justice system and interested in sport.

Kieran - 29, he loves football, food and going to the cinema.

Amy - 34, bouncy American. When she's not doing yoga or drinking espressos at the local coffee shop, she's practicing law. She's the House Lawyer.

We're all friendly, outgoing, chilled out and looking for a like-minded housemate.

We're hoping to find someone who's up for being part of a shared home, rather than just looking for a room, and that will be up for sharing the odd meal/drink together. The perfect housemate will be clean, easy going, social, considerate and have a good sense of humour.
