Bright Double Room next to Clissold Park

The Room

I have double room in my lovely flat. It's peaceful, spacious, cosy and has lots of natural light. Over the road from the wonderful Clissold Park. 

Women only, thanks.

THE ROOM: Furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe, drawers, hammock chair (which you easily put up or take down as you wish). These are all optional if you have some of your own stuff tho.

THE APARTMENT: The apartment is set back from the road so it is bright and quiet with all the windows overlooking trees, and the kitchen overlooking Clissold Park.  It's modern and well appointed. It's cosy too, although I'm turning down the thermostat a bit this winter of course! It's clean, in very good repair etc as you can see from the pics - I live here, so it'snot some grubby hole the landlord doesn't care about!

There's a balcony overlooking trees and no traffic (on any side of the apartment). A nice place to chill or have a meal. The apartment is on the first floor, there's a lift if you're feeling lazy. There is a bike lock up downstairs too.

The kitchen is modern and kept very clean. It's big enough to eat in, in fact you can entertain 6 at a squeeze. Has a dishwasher and washing machine, airfryer and microwave.
Clissold Park is amazing of course. Literally 60 seconds walk to green spaces, ponds, deer, tennis, running track, skateboard park, cafe... yada yada.

The property sits close to a range of local amenities. Stoke Newington Church St is a 5 minute walk across the park including shops and restaurants and is well situated for main commuter routes including railway services being less than a mile from Arsenal Railway Station and Finsbury Park Station and Canonbury Overground with Harringay Overground a short bus trip away. Clissold Leisure Centre and Castle Climbing are 5 mins walk away.

YOUR FLATMATE: I'm Sam. I'm a creative. I work from home. I'm young of head heart and soul (you'd never guess I'm 56, if it matters). Sociable, openminded, calm. I cook, I run in the park and keep it moving. I keep myself to myself, but I'm a good chat also. I have a projector in the front room and am always up for a movie night and a glass of wine. I make gong mallets, randomly. If you're friendly, calm and collected I'm happy, whoever you are :)

I have a 11yo daughter, who is a lovely young lady, very together, quiet and at peace with the world. She stays with me every other weekend and one night a week. That's why I'm looking for female lodgers.
