Top floor of Highbury family home available for rent. Includes light and airy freshly painted large double room, a newly renovated ensuite bathroom, and a landing with fridge and microwave facilities. Room is furnished (sofa bed, sofa, wardrobe, bookcase, desk, and chairs), bed linen and towels etc can be arranged, as can cleaning.

Skylight has a blackout thermal blind. As you are on your own floor it is quiet so good for study, etc, but please note this is not for full time working from home. The room has suited interns, students, stagiares, people on work experience, secondees and people on professional placements etc, or would suit someone generally needing a secure London base for some nights of the week or between homes. There is secure bicycle storage at the front of the house. 
All bills, including Council tax, and broadband are included.

ABOUT US: The household consists of mum (and during holidays others who are away at university).  English and French speaking. Please note this is not a flatshare, it is a room in our family house. We understand that life in London has much to offer but that it can be complicated to find flexible accommodation, and that you need your space and independence. Use of the family kitchen available, and there is a landing with microwave and fridge for when downstairs is too far. Also laundry facilities available for use downstairs.

LOCATION

We are in between from Canonbury and Highbury & Islington stations, so easy access to Euston, Kings X, Eurostar etc, the City and Canary Wharf. There are bus stops at either end of the street to the West End and the City, which makes our street safe and minimises the need for taxis.

Good links to airports at Heathrow (Picadilly line from Arsenal Station), City Airport (Overground at Canonbury station) and Stansted (Finsbury Park). Easy access to international schools at Holborn and Islington, teaching hospitals (UCH, Homerton, Great Ormond Street, Whipps Cross, Guy's and Whittington) and universities (UCL, Institute of Education, King’s, LSE).

There are good parks, two pools and sports facilities nearby too.

Rent is based upon a 3 month rental for 7 days a week, but if a shorter term or fewer days a week is needed I can be flexible. Please get in touch with any questions.
