The Room: a huge, beautiful, double bedroom, with double aspect sash windows bringing in lovely sunshine. The room comes furnished, with a comfy and stylish double bed, matching bedside tables, a massive wardrobe and a book shelf. It has heaps of room and storage. It's on the top floor, so nice views and privacy, and is very quiet.

The House: the room makes up the fourth bedroom of this three-floor house, which is a wing of a mansion villa on a beautiful tree-lined avenue in Highbury. It has two bathrooms, a very well-equipped galley kitchen, storage cupboards, and shared living room with dining table and back door leading to our little garden. The garden has space for bikes and has a bbq for those long summer evenings. The house also has a washing machine.

The Housemates: you'd be sharing with three excellent housemates, all professionals, from Austria, New Zealand and Hungary. Their interests vary but include yoga, swing dance, going out, eating out, travel, all with a lean towards green living. The housemates are friendly and whilst they all have their own lives, they are up for a natter over a glass of wine, or venturing for a drink in the local pub or other events on around town.

The Area: The location of the house is amazing - minutes walk from Highbury Fields and Canonbury Overground station. It's a lovely peaceful neighbourhood, with great access to Upper Street, Clissold Park and Stoke Newington Church St, and the Overground can whip you over to Dalston and Hackney or Hampstead Heath, or the tube down into town.

The Money: rent is £869 pcm, plus bills which are around £90/month (gas, electricity, water, internet, council tax). We also have a cleaner twice a month for £8 each time.
The flat is rented through an agent, who ask for 6 weeks rent as a deposit £1200, redeemed when you leave.

Availability: the room is available from 22nd October (new lease). Although I’m flexible with dates.

The New Housemate (You!): we're looking for a friendly and respectful housemate to join our home. We'd prefer a professional, around our age, who has their own interests but is happy to socialise around the house. We cannot accept couples or people who work from home full-time.

We’re having viewings during weekdays after work or during the weekends. The room is available as long ad is up.
