Gorgeous bright flat in awesome Highbury/Arsenal. I've signed a 12 month lease for a this 2-bed flat to start 6th Nov and want to find a flatmate for the second bedroom and to add to the contract.

Good sized unfurnished double bed room - 3.3m x 2.8m, fits a double bed, drawers, wardrobe or rack (current tenant uses Ikea Jonaxel which fits well). Can fit a small desk, though can put in living room instead if needed

Flat is modern and bright with an open-plan kitchen and living room with Juliet balcony. Appliances include washing machine, dishwasher, fridge. Rest of flat will be furnished with everything you’ll need from cutlery & plates through to TV, sofa & dining table

Bills not included and will come to about £150 ea, plus cleaner on top (frequency negotiable).

Transport:
Location is perfect for getting everywhere in London- 5mins walk from Arsenal station for the Piccadilly line (great for Heathrow), 5mins to Drayton Park, and 15mins walk to Highbury & Islington for Victoria line and Overground. Also has many buses to take you all around London.

Location:
Two amazing parks are within 15mins walk - Highbury Fields and Clissold Park (has deer!), as are many restaurants, pubs & bars, and also pilates/yoga studios and gyms. Walking distance from a Waitrose and Tesco, as well as smaller organic fruit & veg shops which sell lots of good veggie & vegan items too. Also close to the Arsenal Stadium - which is great to use as a running track. Upper St & Angel are a short walk, as is buzzy Stoke Newington.

The Flatmate:
I'm looking for someone who is easy going, clean, and responsible. Perfect for a professional who wants a relatively chill place in the evening, who enjoys their individual time but also likes sharing a meal or a chat over a glass of wine and making it a nice social home.

Happy if you WFH part-time as I think there will be enough space. I'd rather a fellow professional for council tax reasons, also references will be needed for the estate agency.

I'm a 35y/o originally from Australia, work full-time in luxury e-commerce and have quite a busy job. I'm a big foodie and wine lover, also into tennis, Pilates, and heading out into the country for some great hikes. I enjoy nights in as much as nights out so am chill in the week, but try and get out and about at the weekend.
