Lovely double room in huge Victorian Highgate flat

Double room available in a beautiful Victorian mansion block in Highgate Village, as our current flat mate is moving out of London.

Rent comes to £665 per month and around £100 for bills.
Available for move in from the 8th December.
Furniture included but can be removed if needed.

The room:
It is a decent-sized double in a large 4 bedroom flat situated towards the back of our home away from the noise of the road. The room comes with a bed (and mattress), chest of drawers, wardrobe and small bedside table, however these can also be moved to the buildings basement if you’d prefer to bring your own.

The flat:
We have a good sized kitchen and dining area with a balcony, a massive living room and a shared bathroom.
Replacement of tenancy is through an agency but no extra hidden fees. We also have contact with the building maintenance guy who is the go to person for when we need something removed or painted, etc. He has been extremely helpful with our decorating endeavours and general needs.

Travel:
The flat is in a really convenient, well-connected location with Archway station (which falls on to zone 2) about a 6 minute walk away and 13-15 minutes walk to Highgate station (both northern line) making it super easy to get into central London. There’s also loads of buses that stop a min walk to the flat.
We are only a 5 min walk away from Highgate Village high steet and all the cute pubs and shops (we miss them dearly). Waterlow Park is at the end of our street, just a 3 min walk from the flat and Hampstead Heath is about 15 minutes as well as Highgate Woods.

Flatmates:
We’re all young professionals who are creative in our own way (we have been doing a lot of decorating since quarantine) and love going to brunches, exhibitions, theatres, markets, restaurants, the cinema and to a good local pub.
Since lockdown we have been enjoying staying in watching a good film or tv show with a glass of wine. We’ve also tried bringing the bar to the living room with a few cocktail nights.
We like to keep the flat clean and respect each other’s personal time and space. We would like their to be the same sort of vibe from our new housemate, someone who would like our flat to be their home and not just a place to sleep.
