Huge En-Suite Room near Highgate tube station

Huge double room with en-suite available in our lovely and friendly flatshare in Highgate, less than five minutes walk from Highgate station.

Our three-bed flat is on the ground floor, and has plenty of parking space if needed, plus a beautiful communal garden.

The room available is by far the biggest in the flat, and has a huge window, wooden floor and high ceiling. Comes fully furnished, with bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and small bookcase. Plenty of room to add more too - we’ve tried to capture how big it is in the photos, but they don’t really do it justice.

We have a big living room with comfy sofa and armchairs, dining table and TV, plus a great view of the garden. There is also a kitchen, with washer-dryer, and the main bathroom which is used by the other two rooms, but you would of course be welcome to use if you like baths.

The other flatmate and I are both professional women, aged 25 and 31 - I work in music, although am currently on furlough, and the other works in hospitality as a restaurant manager. We’re both friendly and sociable, occasionally going out for a few drinks or a walk, or just staying in and watching Bake Off together- we like a good chat, but we’re also very respectful of each other’s space. Looking for a friendly and clean flatmate for the third room.

The room is available on the 10th November. The rent is £750, plus bills - monthly bills include gas and electric at around £30, and council tax at £57. Water comes in every 6 months, and there is the annual TV license which will be renewed when the third room is filled. Internet will also be included, but we’re just looking at changing who we use for this.

Less than 5 minutes walking distance from Highgate tube station, with bus stops straight outside the flat going towards various locations in Central London - Camden, London Bridge and Warren St included.

Some of the best pubs in North London (in our opinion) are super close by, as well as lots of great green spaces, woods and parks, including Hampstead Heath, so great if you like nature and being outdoors. You have Highgate Village and Crouch End also close by, for good shops and restaurants.

Grocery-wise, there’s a Co-op literally next door, and a small Sainsbury’s 2 minutes down the road. You can also walk 10 minutes down the road to Archway, where there is also an Aldi, M&S Food and a small Tesco, as well as another Co-op and Sainsbury’s. There is also a Tesco Extra about a 15 minute bus ride away.

We’ve lived in the flat for a year and a half now, and can’t stress how much we love it and living in the area. The agency are also very helpful - whenever we have had any issues, they have responded or got someone out to fix the problem very quickly.
