Living Room

Hello!

One of our housemates is moving out so we are looking for a wonderful person to move in to our lovely 3-bedroom Highgate home at the beginning of July.

We'll start with online viewings and a chat, and then if you're interested we can arrange a socially distanced viewing.

The room: This is the smaller sized room of the three bedrooms. The room is furnished, it comes with a wardrobe, bed and bedside table.

The flat: Our flat is in a 1930s art deco building, so has lots of character. It benefits from plenty of windows, which makes it nice and bright, and has plenty of storage. The living room is large and has two comfy couches and a dining table, making it great for entertaining. There is a small kitchen, equipped with both a dishwasher and washing machine, and a modern bathroom with a large bathtub and powerful shower. The complex also has a communal garden, large residents-only parking lot and a lift for easy access.

The area: Northwood Hall is located halfway up Highgate Hill in a lovely and safe neighbourhood with family houses and tree-lined streets. There are lots of parks and woods close by. Crouch End and Highgate Village are both a 10-15 walk away, and boast lots of lovely coffee shops, pubs, shops and great places to have brunch! There are plenty of grocery shops nearby – local supermarkets and our favourite corner shop.

Transport links: The closest tube stop is Archway (Northern Line - zone 2), which is a 10min walk. There are also lots of buses that can run you up Highgate Hill in 2min (134, 210, 271), and a very cute little bus (W5) that stops right outside our door. Archway, in general, is good for buses and night buses, so it is really easy to get home.

Rent and bills: £530 including bills (bargain!) -council tax, TV license, internet, electricity, gas and water. We also have a cleaner who cleans the communal areas every 2 weeks. We reimburse each other for household items out of this account too.

The flat mates: You will be living with two lovely 30 year old professionals. Our loves: Netflix, good food, a long chat over a good glass of wine down the pub after a walk on the Heath or Highgate Wood. We love to spend time with each other but have our own lives as well.

You: We’re looking for someone lovely, responsible, sociable, clean and easy going. Ideally we are looking for someone who is happy to socialise and make the flat their home.
