I am a private landlord (no agency fees nor any other fees) looking for 2 non-smoking clean, tidy professionals or mature students ASAP to share with my current 2 tenants (who are 2 male sociable /happy professionals in late 20s/early 30s working in marketing and software development) and one new tenant (who is a math teacher and will join the house in mid August). The property has been the home of some of my former tenants for the last 7-12 years.
The house is a high quality property which covers 3 floors of a semi-detached Victorian property. It is located in a quiet street of a conservation area (off Holloway Road), beautifully renovated with high-quality wooden flooring, a spacious open-plan kitchen/living area with a French door leading to a very large roof terrace (=the bonus of living in this house), a bathroom (with Jacuzzi bathtub, toilet and basin), a separate shower room, (with a shower, toilet and basin), a separate Guest WC and storage space.
Fast Internet access.
Logistics: 3-5 min tube/busses/shops/large supermarkets/ restaurant/ all other facilities on Holloway Road and within walking distance to more shops/restaurants on the Upper Street or Camden Town.
There is a lot of parking space in our very quiet and spacious road.
Piccadilly tube line (the fasted tube line) brings you to Eurostar station, Heathrow Airport and other national rail stations.
Convenient buses from the property are 17, 29, 43, 91, 153, 253, 259, 271, 393.
We prefer to share our house with clean/tidy and laid-back housemates who care for the house, don't smoke and do not have pets in the house.
The vacant rooms are:
- a double room on the 1st floor, furnished with a large wardrobe double bed, drawers (which can be replaced by a desk and a chair if you need to work from home). The rent is £180 per week ex bills (or £780 per calendar month ex bills) for 1 person (no couple). Deposit: £840 (= 1 month rent + 1 month council tax). NOTE: this room has now been TAKEN.
- 2 large double rooms on the 1st floor, furnished. with a large wardrobe, a drawer, a desk/chair. The rend is £210pw ex bills or £910 per calendar month ex bills for 1 person (no couple). Deposit: £947.(= 1 month rent + 1 month council tax). NOTE: one of these 2 rooms has now been TAKEN
Total bills (including a fortnightly cleaning service) are approx £100 per person per month on average.
Contract term is min 1 year.
