Big double room in bright 2-bed Holloway flat ☀️

My housemate is sadly moving out in the beginning of June so looking for a new pal to share this lovely 2-bed flat with.

The room is a big and bright double with wooden flooring and comes with two thin wardrobes, a bookcase, a mirror, and a bed base (with an option to buy my housemate's 1 and a half year old memory foam mattress for like £50 or bring your own). The flat was originally partly furnished so there is a lot of space in the room to make it your own.

The rest of the flat has a spacious living room with an open plan kitchen, and a big bathroom with a bath (and then my room). There is also a small patio area leading out of the living room. All windows are double glazed which blocks out any traffic noise and comes quite handy in the colder months.
The lease allows for a cat, as we had one two years ago (so I come cat trained!).

A bit about me: I'm very newly 30, pescatarian (for the environment), and work as a civil servant. I'm quite into culture and like making use of all London has to offer (such as art exhibitions, gigs, festivals, theatre, clubs, restaurants, drinks in the park etc.) but also on occasion enjoy having a quiet night at home cooking, reading, or watching TV.

I'm ideally looking for someone with similar interests who will make the flat a home for themselves too rather than treat it as a room to crash in. Bonus points if you are clean, enjoy living in a nice space, and would be up for hanging out and about or with a glass of wine at the flat.

The boring bits: rent is £1000 per month; bills (council tax, Internet, electricity, TV license) come to about £200 per month, with water paid every 6(ish) months. The contract expires in March 2025 but it's very likely I'll be looking to renew as I've loved living here for the past 3 years!
