Hello,
we are looking for a new housemate to join us, we are a group of young professionals of mixed nationalities, and we are currently 2 guys and 3 girls. Given the current circumstances most of us still work from home for university/legal firm/charity sectors, only one has to go out to work as she takes care of children in nurseries and family homes. Because of the latter we have established some safety measures in the house to keep each other safe from covid as much as reasonably possible. We would like to find someone around our age range, which goes from mid-twenties to 40-ish, and preferably who also works for home for now.
The room is on the second floor, on the back of the house, it includes a single bed, desk + chair, a chest of drawers, a small shoe rack, a low wooden table and a closet.
We have a very big kitchen, a living room, a laundry room with washing machine and a tumble dryer, 3 separate toilets, and 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub/shower and the other with two separate and private cabin showers. There is also a backyard garden we sometimes use for the odd summer barbecue.
We are located between the tube stations of Holloway Road and Finsbury Park (Piccadilly and Victoria lines), with a lot of buses connecting us to central London. The house is very close to two high streets with their lot of shops and supermarkets, we have a very big Morrisons and a Waitrose just round the corner, plus a cinema within a few minutes walk.
We have a friendly atmosphere in the house and we are looking for someone who enjoys this aspect of a houseshare. Our new housemate would ideally already have some experience of living with others, hence knowing what it entails in terms of being considerate, clean and responsible (and covid aware!).
Even though we are a big household the place is quiet and relaxed (no party animals please), and we occasionally do things together like sharing a meal, while we are also respectful of everyone's privacy and keep these occasions as something spontaneous.
The rent is inclusive of all bills, except internet, which comes at around £9-10/month per person, and each one of us pays £10/month for house expenses (washing up liquid, toilet paper, etc...)
We are a NO SMOKING house, and LGBT friendly.
Get in touch with a message through the website or by SMS/Whatsapp if you are interested and would like to arrange a video-viewing as a first step, or if you have any questions.
Thanks!
