My long-term housemate and really good friend is moving out of London so I am looking for a new housemate to share this beautiful home with me from 1st March 2022.
I’m looking to share the house with a queer or queer-friendly female professional who is open to creating a communal and homely vibe with me in this beautiful home.
About me:
I’m a 27 year old queer cis female theatre and events producer and I often work from home. My interests include performance, psychology, reading, swimming and cooking. I’m a calm and quiet person to live with but I also really enjoy socialising and hanging out, cooking and eating dinner together, having wine and watching tv, having people over for dinner or games or movie nights. I’m a clean person and the house is a calm, tranquil and very relaxing space. I’m a warm, open and honest person, I’m looking for a housemate who is caring and conscientious and can communicate well.
About the house:
The house is a 3 bedroom terrace house on a quiet, family-oriented and friendly street in Homerton. It’s a very big, quirky and beautiful house. We have a huge open plan living/dining room, a big kitchen/dining room, a lovely garden with a large shed, two big double bedrooms, one smaller room which we either use as a single room for guests or as a home office, and a bathroom with bath & shower. Rent is £675 a month not including bills, with bills (inc. internet, water, gas & electric, council tax) it comes to £811 per month.
Location: The house is a 10 minute walk to Homerton overground station, 5 minute walk to Victoria park, 10 minute walk to Hackney Marshes, and a 15 minute walk to Chatsworth Road. We have a corner shop 2 minutes walk away and loads of bus routes at the end of our road.
Access: There are two steps up into the house. We have a staircase and some of the rooms have a small step to enter/exit.
Something to note is that I will be getting a puppy in June so it’s important that you feel comfortable around dogs and you’d enjoy all the perks of being around him!
