The room is a very comfy double bedroom. It comes fully furnished, has good storage space and a high-quality memory foam mattress. The windows also attract a lot of direct sunlight, which is a bonus.

There is a spacious shared living room, that has a VERY comfy sofa (that is hard to move from) and a dining table and chairs.

The kitchen is small but mighty and has got everything you need, including a good sized fridge-freezer, and washing machine. The kitchen surfaces and tiling were relatively recently refurbished so it looks good. All appliances and utensils are shared so don’t worry if you don’t have much of your own.

The bathroom has a shower and bath, with good water pressure, and there is always hot water available. There is automated central heating, so the flat is always at a good, cosy temperature.

There is super-fast 500gb fibre-optic internet so easily handles multiple video calls at the same time, streaming etc. All bills are included, which covers water, gas, electricity, council tax etc.

This is a very comfortable room in a place you will happily call home :)

About the area: The River Lea & Hackney Marshes are a 5-minute walk and the vibrant Hackney Wick is about a 10-15 minute walk. This is a prime location in a peaceful area! Bars, restaurants, cafés, pubs are reachable in 5-10 minutes from the flat with a bus stop taking you to central London right outside. When you come home, it's calm and peaceful; rarely do you hear sirens or traffic. You can be in Hackney Central by foot in 15 mins, less by bus. Homerton overground station is roughly a 10-15 minute walk away, otherwise a bus to Leyton or Stratford station takes 10 minutes.

About your flatmates: You’d be living with Lauren (she/they) who is 31 years old and Abby (she/her) 37 years old. Lauren does a variety of self-employed and part-time roles, including working at a gym, pet sitting and life modelling. Abby works in management in the third sector. They get on well and would love to have another respectful, clean and friendly housemate, who is sociable but also mindful of them having their own space at times. They’ve even socialised outside the house too, so you’d be welcome to join them.
