Large Double Room in Peaceful Honor Oak Park

You will be sharing with me and my father, I am in my late 20’s and a freelancer/ working in the creative industry.

We are a non-meat eating house, although we do cook fish occasionally. We have had lodgers for many years and are happy to share our space. We are looking for a flatmate of any age.

Your room is a wonderfully spacious, light and warm bed-sitting room, over twenty feet long. There is a double bed, built-in wardrobe with ample storage, chest of drawers, comfy sofa, work table and chair. (I am happy to provide bed linen if required). There is not a shared living room. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The kitchen has a washing machine, large fridge freezer and a multifunction convection cooker with a gas hob. We have plenty of kitchen equipment.

Council tax, water rates and broadband are all included in the rent. Gas and electric costs are shared between 3 and are settled monthly. The flat is situated in Honor Oak Park, on a lovely residential road. It is on the top floor of a charming Victorian semi-detached house with a secluded private garden which you are welcome to use. Honor Oak Park has an excellent local shopping area; there are cafes, restaurants, a Sainsbury’s Local and a variety of shops.

Honor Oak Station is a 4 minute’ walk from the flat. Transport links are excellent, including the London Overground, which connects to the Jubilee line, and South Eastern train services to London Bridge, together with local buses and night buses. There is also a useful Thames Link service from Crofton Park – only a short walk away. If you have a car, on-street parking is free and spaces are always available.

We have lived in Honor Oak Park for over ten years and really value the safe community feel of the area and the fabulous open green spaces.
