The Room

A generously spacious double room with high ceilings and neutral walls and white hard wood floor. The room is garden/courtyard facing, with a beautiful leafy view it is generally very peaceful and even includes the occasional birdsong. There is a very large and lovely periodic vertically sliding window.

The furniture in the room shown is my own and will not be included - except the chest of drawers if you would like it. The room is available both unfurnished and furnished with: a double bed, wardrobe, mattress, bedside table and a desk - just let me know prior to your move in date so I can arrange it. There is plenty of storage room underneath the provided bed allowing for boxes etc, which is great if you need extra storage. The room also has a very large radiator which works really well in winter.

The Flat
A lovely spacious first floor apartment, within a red-brick Victorian mansion block in Hornsey Lane, Highgate. Less than 10 minutes walk away from the highly coveted and picturesque, Highgate Village. The perfect escape from the fast-moving city, with it’s traditional and independent stores, restaurants and bars. As well as all of your essential amenities such as Tesco Express and favourite chains like Pizza Express, Le Pain Quotidien, Gails and Côte Brasserie.

This great location also boasts the beautifully serene Waterlow park, just minutes away from your doorstep. A beautiful large green space featuring ponds, tennis courts, BBQ friendly areas, Lauderdale House and the famous Highgate cemetery.

The location is really safe, with a suburban vibe and quiet with lots of working professionals, students and young families. Hampstead Heath is also only a 15-20 minute walk away, which is great to get some fresh air at the weekend.

Other notably close locations are: Muswell Hill, Highgate & Queens Wood (ancient and very beautiful woodlands), Crouch End & Alexandra Palace.

The flat is a 10 min walk to Archway station (Northern line connections, Zone 2) and a 15 min walk to Highgate (also Northern line, Zone 3). There is a bus stop directly outside the flat and both Archway road and Highgate hill have excellent bus connections. 5 minutes further down from Archway Station is Upper Holloway Station (overground) providing easy access to East London and also to Kew Gardens.

Living room
The flat has a VERY large living room with two sofas, a coffee table, and two armchairs. The living room is at the front of the flat with large bay windows so it gets lots of light and makes for a nice space to relax.

Kitchen
The kitchen has two fridge/freezers, a washing machine and a dining table. The dining area is large with the kitchen offset to the back of the room. The kitchen/ dining area also has a small balcony attached which overlooks ground-floor gardens.

Bathroom
The bathroom has a toilet, sink and built in bath/shower combo. The water pressure is great. It also has shelving units and a cabinet with built in mirror.


The Flat mates
You will be sharing the flat with two other friendly, social young females aged around 25 and one friendly male aged 27. It is important to them that we find someone who it going to be well suited to living in the flat – therefore they would like to meet all applicants and have a chat/get to know each other before any decisions are made.

Rent is £710, We split the bills so in total its £830 a month (or less) with the bills included. (Virgin Media, water, electricity, council tax, gas). Available from December 2020. The contract ends in July 2021, however you can renew at the end with no problems. This will be a change of tenancy agreement (not a sub-let) which will offer you the security of a contract. £800 deposit required.
