Big double room with ensuite bathroom - just one flatmate to live with! (me) - in handy location between Highgate, Archway and Crouch End. A great alternative if you can't do small studio flat with little space.

This is a spacious apartment located on 1st floor. There is a lift and a secure entrance at ground floor. The neighbours are lovely people - we have a WhatsApp group.

The flat has two double bedrooms, a shared living/dining room, a small balcony, a shared kitchen and a hallway. A garage is nearby but very old.

Bedroom:
The bedroom is part-furnished with a large double bed and 2x large wardrobes. One wardrobe has a set of drawers inside and both wardrobe is complete with a rail and a top shelf. There are 4 fixed drawers under the bed too. - ample of storage spaces! A large cupboard space is also just outside the bedroom for big coats and luggages. Window is fitted with a roller blind and a set of curtains, but you are welcome to replace it with your own set. Same with bedding. There is a desk/chair in this room which are mine but you may borrow while I am here or I can put into storage if you have something. You can bring/include your own desk, a sofa, shelves or a chest of drawers. Picture does look a bit bare but it can be brilliant room with the right stuff in! (Bedroom pictures were taken two years ago - planning to refresh photos soon)

En-suite bathroom:
This include a shower over bath, a glass shower screen, a sink with storage space underneath, and a toilet. Plus a mirror with lamp and towel rail. It is well-lit and there is a tiled shelf for your toiletries.

Shared kitchen:
This has gas hobs, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Plus cupboard spaces for your food and cooking equipments.

Shared lounge/dining room:
This is furnished with a sofa and an armchair. There is a study desk if you need to work at home. Very spacious and with a nice balcony overlooking the communal garden for the summer days. It is light and airy.

Location:
Archway station (Northern - Zone 2): 0.7 mile (10-15 minutes walk or 5 minutes on W5 bus)
Highgate station (Northern ― Zone 3): 0.8 mile
Crouch Hill station (Overground): 0.9 mile

There is a great 4km footpath close by, stretching from Highgate to Finsbury park ― perfect for a walk or a jog!

This place is a short bus-ride away from the stunning Hampstead Heath.

Waterlow Park is at the end of our street.

Just 10 mins walk to the famous Highgate village with its great pubs, village coffee shops and restaurants.

Brilliantly located for transport, leisure, parks, great neighbouring areas (Muswell hill, Crouch End, Hampstead, Highgate village).

Bus stops nearby which are served by direct buses/night buses to Central London are just minutes away.

Your flatmate: I am a friendly full-time professional guy who has been here for a good while. I am from UK and a graphic designer. Love design, photography, plants, swimming and visiting places with friends. I treat this place like a home. I am hoping to share with someone with a similar vibe.

Sorry but I won't be accepting couples, smokers/vapers, pet owners or allowing house parties (do love gatherings and parties but not at the flat.

The rent is £750pcm before bills.
Deposit is £750 (we are registered with the DPS)
Bills are approximately £210pcm each. (£960 in total with the room)
There is no agency fee.

Bills cover council tax (Band E), gas/electricity, water, TV license and virgin’s superfast wireless broadband.

The bills are managed by me. Costs are split between two of us. I am the primary account holder and you would just need to pay your half to me in advance, every month by bank transfer. This varies monthly but a rough estimate is £210 per month. We both can make decisions over suppliers and find ways to save. Your names can be added in as proof of address.

References will be taken for landlord. (employment ref, previous landlord ref, last 3 months bank statements and copy of passport).

You will get a year contract with landlord with option to renew afterwards - we hope for someone long-term to avoid the disruptions.

I have known my landlord for 15 years now.

There is no cleaner at this place. I am hoping both of us have excellent cleaning skills to cope without one and treat the place with good care.

Location is at Hornsey Lane in N6 (not to be confused with Hornsey area of N8)
