Close to Newbury Park Station (central line zone 4) and local buses to Ilford and Romford town centres. Overground train stations nearby (Seven Kings, Ilford) going into London or Essex. Local amenities include supermarkets, post office, two health centres, park, restaurants and local shops (dry cleaners, newsagents, grocery stores, pharmacies, B&Q, B&M).
Fully furnished double room with small TV, DVD player, basic Sky box (movies incl but not Sky+), clock radio, reading lamp, hairdryer and WiFi. Room has two double wardrobes, two bedside cabinets (each with three drawers) and a dressing table with mirror and three drawers. There is additional storage space under the bed and additional hanging space on the back of the door.
House is in need of cosmetic decoration (and a good tidy) but structurally sound. All carpets have just had a professional deep clean.
Use of washing machine and all appliances. Share bathroom, kitchen, lounge. Large garden, off-street parking, quiet road with friendly neighbours.
Available to non-smokers happy to share with home owner and her cats. £450pcm (negotiable if over your advertised budget). £100 deposit required to hold room.
Council Tax is not included in rent.
I am physically disabled so don’t go out often but I am a quiet, friendly person. I love animals and children. Interests are watching films, listening to music and talking. My disability makes doing the housework difficult for me so ideally looking for someone willing to help me declutter/clean (for reduction in rent) but this is not a condition of the rental and is not compulsory.
The house isn’t adapted for wheelchair use but the bathroom has aids (grab rail, raised seat) and the staircase has handrails on both sides.
