ABOUT THE HOUSE
The property is a mid terraced Victorian house with a shared dining area, reception room, kitchen, bathroom and rear garden.
It has been renovated to a very high standard with a modern, contemporary design.
On the ground floor there is the room for rent, living area/galley kitchen/dining area (all with underfloor heating) and rear garden. There is also a lightwell between the rooms to bring extra light into the shared living space.
The rear garden has a planted area and wooden deck at the back.
There is a shared shower room on the first floor and a further 2 bedrooms. One of which is Marikas, the other is spare and will remain so.

It is on a quiet residential street off Ilford lane which is half way between Barking and Ilford stations. 2 bus stops nearby will take you there in 5-10 minutes or walkable in 15. From Barking you can get the hammersmith and city line and from Ilford there is a train to Liverpool Street Via Stratford.

The room is on the ground floor, close to the kitchen and living areas.

I am looking for a young professional to share and look after the space with. Must be clean, respectful and considerate, it is NOT a party house.
You must be employed and tolerant of the fact that the current housemate works from home.
Looking for someone sociable and fun. Moving in date is negotiable.

ABOUT ME
The house has been a real labour of love for me since I bought it 4 years ago and I'll be quite particular about who moves in. I am moving to Edinburgh and looking for someone to take my room and share with existing resident Marika.

Super friendly with love for the great outdoors, diy enthusiast and a passionate coffee drinker. I’m sociable and fun to be around, enjoy cooking, gardening (grew a few tomatoes and a courgette this year!), keeping active (mountain climbing a new hobby of mine) and always up for a Saturday movie night in. I’m no party animal but I do like to treat myself to a chilled beer on an occasion or two ;)
