We are looking for someone to move in at the end of June/beginning of July to replace our roommate who is moving out.
++The area++
The flat is located in a residential area, with quick access to both Canary Wharf (15 minutes on DLR) and Greenwich (15 minutes on foot or by DLR). There is an ASDA superstore less than 10 minutes walking distance away.
The nearest DLR station is only around 4 minutes away and the flat is right on 3 bus lines.
The flat is located right next to Millwall park and Mudchute farm, as well as a 5 minute walk to the Thames.
++The room/flat++
The room includes a double bed and a built-in wardrobe. The other furniture in the pictures is not included. The room is large enough for a small desk (or a medium sized desk, if you move the bed to one of the walls).
The flat has two bathrooms. The one closer to your room is shared with Aleks, however you are also welcome to use the other bathroom whenever you want, which has a bathtub.
The flat is fully furnished and also has a small garden and a garage used for storage.
++Bills++
Bills come out to about £120 a month per person. This includes a cleaner who comes by once a month.
The deposit will likely be around one month's rent but we will need to confirm that with the agency.
++Who you will be living with++
Milena (28): I am currently working part-time and doing a part-time master's degree in politics. My work is hybrid, so I regularly work from home. My hobbies include knitting and reading.
Aleksandra (34): I’m a pianist, freelancing and working in schools. I‘m rarely home but when around, I tend to work in the living room as my single room is too tiny. Super happy to share the space though! I like having a drink after work but mostly an arts and culture fan, loving to read and watch films.
++Who we are looking for++
Since this is a quiet neighborhood with lots of families, this place is not suitable for someone interested in having loud or frequent parties. We are also not looking for someone who will be smoking w**d on the property (including in the garden). Part of the reason we have been able to live here for 5 years so far is because we are on good terms with the neighbours.
Smoking is allowed in the garden but never in the flat.
