Double room,own bathroom, gym - Zone 1

Hey there,

We have a double room available in our homely flat from 1st June. Rent is £872 with bills approx £160 on top each month inc super fast broadband, totalling £1040.

Room: double, furnished with bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and built in (deceptively large) single wardrobe. Looks out over the courtyard which is nice and quiet. The room has sole use of the spacious main bathroom next door as the other bedrooms have en suites - no queues for showers in the morning!

Flat: super light and spacious with large living/dinning room and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. For London, there’s a lot of space and it’s pretty unheard of to get a flat with as many bathrooms as bedrooms.

Building: Imperial Court is a gated and safe building. We have concierge Monday-Friday 8am-9pm and Saturday morning. They bring all our parcels to our front door (hello Amazon prime!). There’s also a free residents gym in the basement with cardio machines and free weights.

Amazing Location: 8min walk from either vauxhall or Kennington tube stations. Loads of pubs and coffee shops within stumbling distance and Kennington park just round the corner. It’s super central and we are 10 mins from the river which is great for running etc.

Housemates: Jen and Lydia, both in our mid thirties, like all the usual things.

Who we are looking for: someone tidy and chilled who will fit the dynamic. We are both pretty busy and independent but get on well and like a Netflix binge every now and then. The room isn’t really suitable for someone that works from home regularly and needs a desk as there isn’t space. Totally fine to use laptops at the dining table but like to keep it a social space ie. no home office set up or work calls that other housemates need to tiptoe around.
