We are a couple in our mid-30s looking for a lodger who needs accommodation in London during the working week. We would prefer someone who works as a professional and is tidy, courteous and not a smoker.
The room available is a large double room with built-in wardrobe and a new double bed and mattress from Warren Evans. The room has views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.
The property is an ex-local authority flat with 3 bedrooms (one used as a study), a large living room, balcony, kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. It is fully furnished and you would be welcome to make yourself at home and use any items you need in the kitchen, living room, etc. We also have ultrafast broadband with Virgin (up to 200Mbps). You would be welcome to leave your belongings in the room at all times - including on weekends when you are not there.
The flat is 8 minutes walk from Kennington station, 15 minutes to Vauxhall or Lambeth and 20 minutes walk to Waterloo. There are numerous buses nearby and you can easily walk to Westminster, Covent Garden, Soho and London Bridge (between 25-45 minutes). There is a Tesco Express 5 minutes walk from the flat.
The rent payment includes all bills, household items such as laundry detergent, toilet roll etc, and a cleaner who comes once a week.
We are happy to consider short-term lets.
