Double room in modern/sociable flat

Looking for a flat mate to take the double bedroom available in my 2 bed flatshare. Flat is fully furnished with 2 toilets and 1 shower. Masses of storage space- basement storage lock up (lockable- worth about £200 pcm but included free) and also a bike store in the basement.

Landlord really good and always available- no agencies. Neighbour's are all lovely and we hang out at the pub frequently.

About the room: £750 pcm inc. bills. Double room, comes with double bed, 2 door wardrobe, bedside table and big window, additional under stair storage comes with this room if needed. Please note, the room is a double but it is small, its modern, bright, has a comfy mattress, bedside table, wardrobe and a large window. Since Covid, me and my current flatmate have been working from home a fair bit. I have a desk set up in the lounge and then my flatmate tends to use the dining table (separate from lounge) and we find this works very well.

Deposit: 5 weeks rent per room registered with the national tenants deposit scheme.

Fees: £75 for security checks, £200 initial payment to secure room which is deductible from the deposit paid.

Agency: NONE! Landlord deals with everything and lives just outside London.

Can’t preach about Kennington enough. Less than 10 minutes on the tube from Leicester Square, Clapham Common and London Bridge. Feel like a small town in the most ideal location. I’ve managed to go 6 years at a big four and never pay more than £15 for an uber home. If you’re bicycle-y inclined the cycle super highway takes you all the way to Kings Cross without needing to cycle on the road. It’s also walking distance to the city if you need to be close to the office but don’t want to get the tube!

The flat is new and furnished to a high standard (wooden floors, marble worktops, power shower, central heating etc etc). Also recently decorated so have a few paintings / fairy lights / cute new side tables etc.

About me: I'm 27, work in the city and I've lived here for 6 years. My current housemate (who I also met on spare rooms) is moving in with her sister for lockdown. I'm quite chilled out, pretty busy social life but also (and more likely in Covid times) quite happy to hang out in the flat and watch TV / cook / go for a pint / watch the football (I’m an avid spurs fan). I work from home most of the time at the moment but will go in once things reopen again.

Note, I’ve put minimum term 1 month- my preference is a longer term let but appreciate there are exceptional circumstances at the moment so can do rolling monthly contract if the right person comes along.
