The Old Firestation

With our tenancy due for renewal, our flat mate Steve has regrettably decided to move out. We're looking for another person (or couple) who'd like to move in with us.

The flat is spread over 3 levels, has two bathrooms, a living room, a conservatory, and a great patio garden. To my surprise, the property also has a roof terrace providing an excellent view of London.

As the property is a converted old firestation, the flat's layout is rather quirky (in a good way). The rooms have high ceilings, solid wooden floors, and the living room has a fireplace.

The bedroom that's available is the only one with a bathroom en-suite.

Located in the heart of London, there are few places more convenient for getting around the city.

The flat is 5 minute walk away from both Kennington and Elephant & Castle underground stations, where Vauxhall station is also close by. There are several supermarkets in the area, and a number of decent pubs and bars are within walking distance.

The Thames is less than a mile away, which makes for a running route that never gets boring.

Karl and I will be staying on at the flat. I've got a background in business psychology, and I've just started a new job as an auditor. In my spare time I enjoy running and boxing training.

Karl used to be in the army, and now works in the world of start-ups. He is also the best cook I know.
